To help the growing gig-economy of bus drivers, Schoolwurk wanted a proof-of-concept mockup for a platform that allowed employers to create positions for available freelancers to fill. The goal was to create two separate platforms with one connected experience to service two main user groups: gig workers and school employers.

Easy-to-Find Gig Work

Using the employee-focused app, job seekers would be able to sort through various listings in their area and see important details that help them build their own work schedule around those jobs. Workers can track recent and relevant jobs, job details such as scheduling and attire, and pay.

Manage the Whole District

In the client-focused app, school staff would be able to create and manage detailed job listings associated with user-created schedules. In this example for a bus schedule, routes and times can be established as a base for future jobs to reference.
