Establishing a Framework

Using existing CeriFi content condensed into key topics called critical concepts, we determined the AI tool would best exist in the form of an on-demand tutor and learning assistant. Targeting key areas of learning, coined "Teach, Ask, and Quiz," the tutor would serve as a supplemental reinterpretation tool that communicates key ideas to learners in forms that best suits their learning styles.

Engaging with the AI

The AI Tutor serves as a companion to existing traditional content, allowing learners to engage with the tutor in the way that benefits them best. Learners can start with any mode that best fits their needs or resume an in-progress session.

Teach Me

Selecting the Teach Me tool brings the learner to a fluid, 1 on 1 teacher experience. Here, they are able to dictate the format in which the content is delivered to them, and take a step-by-step walkthrough of the critical concepts for the current activity.

For learners that better process new information in audio formats, the tutor's AI capabilities allow it to enter a Voice Mode and generate audio podcasts of the content.

Ask Me

Serving as a way to review the content they learned, Ask Me has learners flip roles where they are asked questions about the content they just learned. Through this reframing, learners strengthen their understanding of critical concepts and identify gaps in their knowledge.

Quiz Me

Before moving on to the next activity and restarting the flywheel, learners must pass a short examination of their understanding of the critical concepts. Using various question types, the AI is able to target each critical concept and identify any remaining gaps in understanding.

Receiving real-time feedback during the quiz and a short evaluation at the end, users are given the option to remain in this activity and continue to improve their understanding of its critical concepts or move on to the next activity and start the wheel over again.
